The Jail Chaplaincy is an ecumenical group of men and women who are committed to minister to the most alienated persons in our society - the incarcerated. To meet the emotional, spiritual, social and physical needs of inmates and ex-offenders is the goal of the Chaplaincy.

In some cases, "being there" means delivering the news of a birth or death in an inmate's family, or connecting them to programs from chemical dependency or addictions. Helping the inmate keep in touch with family members and clergy, as well as assisting clergy to get in touch with inmates from their congregations is important for the journey of forgiveness.
